About the Founder
Hello everyone! My name is Dan, and I am your dependable handyman. I grew up around construction and have always had a deep admiration for the tangible results of hard work. This passion drove me to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, putting myself through school by working for residential remodelling companies in Ann Arbor, MI.
Eager to get out and make a difference, I ventured out across the country helping to construct multi-million dollar high-rise apartments, casinos, hospitals, and many other projects. Yet something was missing – that sense of fulfilment and connection with people. To find my purpose again, my wife and I sold all our possessions and devoted seven months to hiking all 2200 miles of the Appalachian Trail. It was a much-needed adventure that led us closer to understanding ourselves, while learning invaluable lessons about life and the true meaning of success.
During this time, we came to understand our core values and our desire to build great relationships with others. Being compassionate, honest, open, trusting, and fair is how we want to live our lives. So for better or worse, I decided to leave my desk job to get back into the field to help people directly in their homes.
Now, I get up daily, hoping to bring my love of construction, design, and the outdoors to everyone in my community and make the world a better place, one small project at a time!
